Anthony Vinci, PhD sits at the intersection of technology, national security and finance. He is a Managing Director at Cerberus Capital Management, an Adjunct Senior Fellow with the Technology and National Security Program at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS) and a member of the Board of Trustees Technology Committee at MITRE Corp. He served as the Chief Technology Officer and Associate Director for Capabilities at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). As CTO, he drove the agency’s efforts to bring Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the enterprise and to form public private partnerships with Silicon Valley and other commercial technology centers. As Associate Director, he was a member of the agency’s Executive Committee and was responsible for overseeing NGA’s offices of technology, R&D, contracting, financial management, program development and strategy. Previously, Anthony was on the core management team at Bridgewater Associates, the hedge fund founded by Ray Dalio. He was also the founder and former CEO of Findyr, a technology company which crowdsourced data from around the world, as well as Leviathan Analytics, an AI and geospatial data analytics company focused on global risk. Anthony received his Ph.D. in International Relations from The London School of Economics and studied Philosophy at Reed College and the University of Oxford. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), Business Executives for National Security (BENS) and a Fellow of the Explorers Club.
